Waterfront Park and Burlington Bike Path

Waterfront Park is a large local park situated to the west of downtown along the Lake Champlain Shoreline. This park hosts several large music and food festivals throughout the year. The Burlington Bike Path was converted from the Central Vermont Railway to a bike path in the 1970s, this easy trail crosses through beaches and parks and offers magnificent views of Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks and the city. Vermont Teddy Bear Company

Visitors are welcomed by maple trees, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and the signature rainbow-colored silo as you drive up to the factory. You’ll enter through the Bear Shop, which features the Bears, Vermont-made products, and an area where you can create your own Bear. You’ll want to take a tour of the factory, with one of the Bear Ambassadors who will guide you through a fun, informative tour where you’ll watch the small group of craftspeople creating the Bears by hand, one-by-one.
